I try to follow one simple rule when I make my green smoothies: 80% of green stuff and 20% of "fun" stuff. Saying "fun" I mean all the good sweeties like fruits and berries. I am not sure if my favorite, coriander, is a "must-have green". Well, according to it's color, of course, it is green but it makes a green smoothie taste really special.
A green smoothie is my favorite thing to have for breakfast. It doesn't mean that this is the only thing that I have every morning. But.. I am just always in a rush and try to step out of the door as quickly as I can. Well, it still takes a while to get ready. But I never ever never skip breakfast.
White is a new Green. That's what I can say about this cauliflower smoothie. Frozen banana, cauliflower florets (don't tell my husband), coconut oil and milk are a great healthy and tasty combination. Pomegranate is for decoration. But it is definitely more than just a topping. I like my meals and drinks not just taste great but also look pretty. It makes me feel healthy and fabulous! ;-)
