4 Days worth of smoothies

Once a week, usually on Saturday, I go "green" shopping and get lots of nice and fresh greens. It can be to the farmers market or just Asian grocery (which is really cheap). There is always plenty of good stuff there, because greens are always good for you. I found a big bunch of Chinese spinach, also known as en choy, really really cheap. I used it to make this 4 days worth of smoothies and had a lot of leftovers that I used later that week as a green salad base. If you can't get this Chinese spinach then just use the normal one. All greens are good for you!

Ingredients


 Serves: 4 | Prep time: 15 min

  • 1/2 bunch Chinese spinach
  • 2 carrots, chopped
  • 2 green apples, chopped
  • 4 kiwi fruit, peeled
  • 2 bananas

Method


 

Place all the ingredients in the jars. Store in the fridge (up to 4 days) When ready to have some fresh green smoothies place all the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
